Fight Club - Low Poly

When my 3DS Max teacher told us

"You should recreate a scene from a movie but in another style."

I do not think he ever imagined that I would come out with this.

Although I had never used a similar style for a university work before, many of my classmates already knew that I was a pixelartist.

Honestly, until then I had never considered my ability as something remarkable. The pixelart was something I only did as a hobby, I didn't expect people around me to be interested.

And then, as if it were the opportunity, I decided to try the lowpoly-pixel style.

At that time I didn't know how I would do it. It was my first time and in fact I didn't even know how to do UVs in 3DS Max (or any 3D program).

Transparency, FOV, Ambient occlusion, Light groups and exclusions.
I had to use a lot of complicated things for my first time in 3D.

My teacher told me:

"It's an interesting style, but if you want to try it, it will be risky. I've never had to evaluate something like that."

But despite everything I was determined. And although I ran into several problems along the way, in the end my work was one of the ones that my teacher highlighted. Explaining that he had never seen anything like that.

Until then I didn't know how to do animation rigs, and to get some expression I had to learn about deformations and texture changes.

Fun fact:
My previous year's exam consisted of modeling an animal, which had more than 50,000 polygons.
This, having 2 scenes and 3 characters, only had about 2,000
