Gamefall

"Gamefall" was born after I realized that all my works are rather small. Concrete works, whether of characters, objects, or scenes.
Even despite having worked in a couple of games as a unique artist.
However, making a large piece of art is quite a long job, and it would take me too long to do it completely. So I came up with something:

I would make a map using tilesets, so that I could work it in sections.

That way I could devote small spare time to work certain areas, or tiles, and I would not end up too exhausted!


This was the first zone that I make.
Although, of course, little by little I was working it.
In addition, making a map is somewhat complicated, so I would simplify my life using a simple palette, based on the colors of the NES.
(Tiles of 16x16 pixels. 4 colors per tile. 2 layers of information.)
The final result was, in my opinion, quite good, and had a very good reception by the public.
So I hope to make more maps like this!
