Low Poly - Fire Emblem

Lowpoly Fire Emblem

I needed an excuse to learn Blender ... And how FE: Three Houses was coming soon. Why not take advantage of it?

This all started with a question I told my teacher

- "How could I do to learn Blender faster?"

- "Do more. Practice less"

However, if I wanted to learn fast, I couldn't make it easy.

I needed a goal, and it had to be one that demanded me.
I would make 1 lowpoly model a week. With its texture and pose.

It was the first time I tested with Blender materials. And that's why Chrom is one of the few that denotes his metal sword

As a whole main character Chrom was the first.

I remember working about 6 or 7 hours on it. Until then I barely knew how to use Blender and even the simplest things brought me a lot of problems.

I think I finished this model a little later than I should, but it was the first step and the first job that would teach me the basics of the following.

Having the bases already laid, the rest of the characters were designed to test new challenges.
How would I work with planes?
How would I make the characters move?
How would I make a double-sided material?

Each new model was a challenge, but also an improvement over the previous one.

As I was doing lowpoly I began to modify the base model, to improve my working times and to increase the overall quality of the work.

In my last works I realized that, lowpoly in general stands out for its texture. So it was better not to use a material with such sophisticated properties.

In the end I was able to complete 10 low poly models, before the game date arrived.
